Online Kindergarten Registration

Punxsutawney Area School District will be implementing an online Kindergarten registration process for the 2020-2021 school year. Online registration will begin Monday, May 4th, through the school district portal. Children who will be five years of age, before, June 1, 2020, are eligible to register for the 20-21 school year. Student/Parent COVID-19 Continuity of Education Guideline

Dear PASD Parents and Students,

At 2PM on March 30, Governor Wolf declared that all schools will be closed indefinitely. PASD will provide an update when appropriate.

As we continue to deal with the COVID-19 national crisis , please read the following plan for the Continuity of Education for PASD. We have been working with our teachers to develop this plan. During these unprecedented times the entire school community needs to work together to provide our students with the best Enrichment / Review process as possible. Please note that this plan is the best choice for ALL students in our district. If your student needs something from the school building in order to participate in this process, please contact the school office and arrangements can be made for you to pick up the item(s). Snacks To Grow On

Due to the recent school closing, we at Snacks to Grow On have decided to continue our mission of providing nutrition to students for the weekend. Any family in need, with children in grades K-6, will be able to come for bags on Friday March 20 and Friday March 27 from 9 am to 11 am. The locations will be the building behind Lily’s Restaurant & Bakery or The garage at Laska’s Pizza.
