ANNOUNCEMENTS        Tuesday, February 7, 2023                        CYCLE 8, Day 13       

                                                         Day 13 of Cycle 8

 

 

Homeroom teachers:  Please remember to post your attendance and don’t forget when marking students absent to mark excused full and save and then save the page.  Also, please send any papers that need to come to the office in your attendance envelopes.  Attendance envelopes will be picked up at approximately 9:10 a.m. each morning.

 

Attention All Staff & Students:  DO NOT prop doors open at arrival in the morning.   This a safety concern and with colder weather here we must keep all doors closed at all times!  Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. 

 

Teachers taking students outside today:  The gate at the endzone and the big flag will be open for access to the track.  Do not try to use the gate by Kindergarten as it brings too much mud into the building.

 

The Gertrude Hawk Candy sale for PTO started yesterday and will run through February 20th.  Order forms and informational flyers were be distributed to homerooms.  Thanks in advance to everyone for supporting our PTO!

 

Today is the last day of related arts rotation.  We will start a new cycle of related arts tomorrow.

 

Congratulations to the Students of the Month for January!  They are:  K - Felix Burkett & Thatcher McGary, Gr 1 - Brooklyn Stiver & Gracelyn Ellis, Gr 2 - Trey Manners & Liam Lloyd,

Gr 3 - Kaysen Cary & Mea Baker, Gr 4 - Brielle Hicks & Molly Reed, Gr 5 - Gavin Boggs & Ava Campbell, Gr 6 - Haley Smith & Sage Blystone.  These students should report to the cafeteria immediately following the announcements for pictures and treats. 

 

Good News Club will meet today after school.  Students attending should report to the cafeteria at dismissal, good news club staff will be there to monitor students until club activites begin. 

 

Spaces 164 to 181 in the front parking lot, back row are unassigned parking and anyone may park in these spaces.  All other spots are assigned, as some staff come at later times or leave for lunch, please do not park in their spots.  If you are coming into the building between 9:00 a.m. and leaving before 3:00 p.m. or picking up a student for an appointment between these times, you may park along the curb directly in front of the building or in the spaces by the guiderails.

Tomorrow’s Lunch Menu:   Soft Taco, with Salsa & Dinner Roll OR Chef Salad, with Roll & Goldfish, Corn, Mandarin Oranges OR Assorted Fresh Fruit, Milk
