Punxsutawney Area Elementary School Home

Pennsylvania School Code (24 P.S. § 15-1517) requires schools to conduct one security drill within the first 90 days of the school year.  In compliance with this, The Punxsutawney Area High School and Punxsutawney Elementary School will be conducting a Lockdown Drill on Friday, November 21.

As winter weather begins to make its way back into our area, we encourage all members of our school family and community to review the annual notice regarding weather-related school closings, delays, early dismissals, and activity cancellations. Please remember not to enter Beyer Ave. before 8:30AM or before 3:20PM. Stopping, standing, or parking on Beyer Ave. outside of these times is not permitted and may result in a citation from Borough Police. Thank you for helping keep our students safe and traffic flowing smoothly!
