Homeroom teachers: Please remember to post your attendance and do not forget when marking students absent to mark excused full, save and then save the page. Also, please send any papers that need to come to the office in your attendance envelopes. Attendance envelopes will be picked up at approximately 9:10 a.m. each morning.
The gate by the big flag is open for access to the track today.
Teachers – Please remember to check the coverage sheet every morning and throughout the day.

It's once again time for you to vote for The Punxsutawney Spirit's teacher of the year. To vote for your favorite teacher all you need to do is pick up a copy of The Punxsutawney Spirit and look for the Teacher of the year ballots that will appear in every Spirit edition up to and including the May 6th edition. All votes are to be dropped off in the yellow mailbox outside the Spirit office and all submissions must be submitted by 4pm May 6th.
Today will start a new related arts cycle. Please check with your homeroom teacher or the guidance office if you are unsure of your new related arts cycle.
A pair of earbuds were found in the gym after the PSSA assembly last Friday. If you are missing your earbuds, please stop in the office to provide information and proof to claim that they are yours.
April is “Month of the Military Child.” Teachers please distribute the flyers from your mailboxes to all students today. Flyers need to by returned by Friday, April 29, a small ceremony will be held Monday morning in the cafeteria.
PSSA testing will take place today and tomorrow morning of this week for grades 3, 4, 5, & 6. All students in the building please be quiet in the hallways and respectful of students testing. Lunches are changed during testing days, Kindergarten will eat first lunch, Grades 1 & 2 eat second lunch, Grades 3 & 4 eat third lunch period, and Grades 5 & 6 eat last lunch period.
The upstairs bathrooms are reopened. Teachers: Send only one student at a time to the bathroom. Students leave belonging, agenda and writing utensils on the ledge when using the bathroom. Cameras are monitoring who enters the bathrooms and at what time. During PSSA testing please check with your teacher for restroom use during testing.
Students are reminded to follow the dress code, shorts need to be fingertip length.
Just a reminder that visitors to the building should not park in assigned spots. Spaces 166 to 180 in the back row in front of the auditorium and nanitorium are for visitors. DO NOT park in the front row and only park in spaces 166 to 180 in the back row. There is additional parking at the maintenance garage at the high school by the stadium.
